About our Pork

Our pork is ethically raised at our farm in Nelson. We take pride in the conditions that they are living in, along with the food that they eat. We sell our pork in bulk bulk (half or whole) which are generally sold twice a year by pre-order.
Below you can order a mix of bacon, sausage (link and bulk), pork chops, pork steaks, ribs, ham steaks, hams, ribs and more. We will arrange the butcher and you can chose your own cuts (see diagram below). Since this will make the price vary, you will be responsible for the processing fees associated with your portion.
We also charge based on the hanging weight (weight prior to preparing of cuts) of the pig, which varies from the live weight (when they were alive) and butcher weight (total weight of packaged meat).
As a general rule of thumb, a pig at a live weight of 250 pounds
250 x 72% = 180 pound hanging weight.
180 x 67% = 120.6 pounds of commercial cuts

Hanging weight $4.00 / pound + Processing fees
We will coordinate the pick up of the meat from our butcher and have you pick up your order from our farm in Nelson.
